It's been almost a week since the Democrats gained control of congress, and I'd like to take a poll. How many people have seen terrorists on their streets? Where's all the increased sodomy and dead fetuses?
Dick Cheney averred that the recent violence in Iraq was some didactic attempt by the "evil-doers" to influence the U.S. elections. Over the weekend some 100 Iraqis were killed, already 35 today. Did they not get the memo that the elections are a done deal? We need to drop flyers over Baghdad.

I'm still waiting for the Mexicans who are coming door-to-door to confiscate our guns, our cars, our jobs and our daughters. I'm almost disappointed that I haven't yet had the chance to defend myself from the onslaught like a real capital-A Murrikan!
And just in case that guy on Nick's blog was right about having to wear a flak vest to the mall, I'm getting one right away before the Iraqis loot Lafayette Shooters.
I was going to buy a flak jacket but all they had were the ones we give to our troops so I passed.
Oh, so they had nothing then? Just like what our troops often get?
Well, they ere selling what they deemed "flak jackets" but in essence I think they were just sweater-vests from Old Navy.
